I am always amazed at what I see as a photographer traveling around Belize, especially in the less traveled areas.  Even though the views on the islands appear to be stereotypic of the sun, sand and sea of tropical areas, my breath is still taken away by vistas I have seen 100's of times in Belize.   No longer do I have to dream as I did as a young man of a past age, marooned on a South Sea Island, fashioning a new, simpler life in a perfect surrounding.  In Belize, if I only take the time to move and look, I find it all around me ...

I was strolling along the beach in San Pedro recently when I noticed this beautiful woman walk up to a group of guys asking a question.  I have never seen so many guys jump up to please.  You think she got her question answered?  As soon as they all were able to talk, I believe so ...

Taken a few minutes ago, if the storm continues ot build, we will have substantial water damage.  Out bottom floor is already under a few inches of water.  Fortunately the wind is alony gusting to maybe 40kts, and the rain is in bands.
